WWE Wants To Keep LA Knight Strong After Crown Jewel Loss

WWE has a lot of plans for their future, and sometimes it takes a few shots at the top before something sticks. LA Knight knows all about giving his all in the ring, and the story isn’t over for him yet.

LA Knight has a lot of fans who were cheering for him in a big way to pick up Roman Reigns’ Undisputed Universal Title. That didn’t happen, but all hope isn’t lost for LA Knight.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that WWE wanted to get LA Knight over again after his WWE Crown Jewel loss in Saudi Arabia. He lost a hard-fought match against Roman Reigns, but then they gave him a win against Grayson Waller during the November 10th episode of SmackDown.

So with LA Knight, the whole thing was that Waller was there to be a guy for LA Knight to get a win coming off of a loss. They wanted to make him strong again, they gave him a promo time. He’s still after the title.”

It was also noted that, “it sounded like they’re going to do another match with Roman Reigns, he did the belt motions and everything.” It was noted that LA Knight may get that match against Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble. That is not confirmed, but it is apparent that LA Knight isn’t finished with The Bloodline, or Roman Reigns.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Roman Reigns is not wrestling again this year. That being said, you never know if LA Knight could step up to take on the Tribal Chief one more time at the Royal Rumble.
