Two Matches Announced for 5/8 AEW Dynamite

Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite, emanating from Winnipeg, Canada was a sight of shocking announcements, exceptional in-ring bouts, and a monumental return that set the tone for next week’s show with two huge matches announced.

AEW TNT Champion Adam Copeland brought back his Cope Open Challenge for his title which was answered by House of Black’s Buddy Matthews. Following a hard-fought match, Copeland hit a timely spear on Matthews to pick up the win.

However, the end of the match saw Copeland almost destroy Buddy Matthews with a con-chair-to only for the leader, Malakai Black to appear and immediately disappear with his cohort. Witnessing the events, Adam Copeland is now set to collide with another member of House of Black, Brody King for his TNT title.

On the other hand, Orange Cassidy announced to the world that following the vicious assault by Trent Beretta on his best friend Chuck Taylor last week after their Parking Lot Brawl, Taylor’s in-ring was over.

Right after, he was confronted by Beretta himself only for security to intervene. But next week, Orange Cassidy has a chance to exact revenge when he goes one-on-one with Trent Beretta on AEW Dynamite.
