Johnny Knoxville made waves in WWE when he appeared on television in January 2022, quickly igniting a feud with Sami Zayn. Their rivalry reached a peak with a match at WrestleMania 38, but recent events suggest the animosity between the two is far from over. Knoxville’s latest actions and harsh words have only fueled the ongoing conflict.
At WrestleMania 38, Knoxville, alongside his crew, faced off against Zayn in an ‘Anything Goes Match.’ Knoxville secured humiliating victory over Zayn in Dallas, Texas, two years ago. This victory didn’t end their rivalry, as evidenced by Knoxville’s recent disruptive behavior at Zayn’s comedy show.
Zayn hosted a comedy show titled ‘Sami & Friends’ during Netflix’s ‘Netflix is a Joke’ festival. Knoxville made an unexpected appearance, interrupting the event by low-blowing Zayn and enlisting Wee Man to bodyslam him, thus ruining Zayn’s performance.
Following the event, Zayn posted photo on Instagram with Becky Lynch, showcasing their WWE championships. This prompted Knoxville to go on a rant, viciously mocking Zayn for his body hair, vegan lifestyle, and overall appearance. Knoxville’s tirade included the following insults:
”By doing alright u mean @iamweeman body slamming u AGAIN in front of the entire audience. What a shame, the poor audience had to watch you bomb all night and then get humiliated by me and WeeMan AGAIN! @beckylynchwwe was terrific though. Why she associates herself with the likes of you I will never know.
