WWE Backlash 2024 is officially in the books and the WWE Universe clearly enjoyed the company’s visit to a new part of the globe. WWE hosted their first premium live event ever in France and things turned out to be wild right from the beginning.
The PLE featured some of the biggest names available on the roster including Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and more, and has grabbed the attention of millions around the world. However, the biggest weapon in getting the show successful were the fans present in the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France.
Roaring all night for their favourite superstars living up to the anticipation and the wait, France has the world talking now. Fans in the Arena also got noise level warnings last night during Smackdown. However, Grayson Waller doesn’t appreciate the reaction fans have been giving in the last few days. Rather, in a recent social media post, Waller subtly praised fans for their energy and electricity and called them selfish.
“These French fans really making this show all about themselves- very selfish”
While WWE has not announced any more events in France in the next few months, one might get official very soon with the incredible reaction WWE got from fans.
