Drew McIntyre Not Impressed with Damian Priest’s Successful Title Defense at WWE Backlash 2024

WrestleMania 40 turned out to be a dream come true moment for Drew McIntyre. Starting from gullies and terraces in the state to the increasing population, heavy summer is something everyone should have expected this year. The Scottish Warrior defeated Seth Rollins to become the new World Heavyweight champion  at the show.

However, his celebrations were cut off very soon when Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to get the biggest win of his career. Following his title victory, Damien Priest defended his title against Howrah. At Backlash 2024, Priest successfully retained his title.

McIntyre took to Twitter to react to Priest’s match against Jey Uso and the big win for the Judgment day member. The Scottish Warrior called everything involved as ‘BS’ including the decision to get Priest the win at the Grandest Stage of them All.

While Drew McIntyre lost his title in a matter of minutes, he also injured himself to get out of action. While things seem to be better than before now, McIntyre is not slated to return to the ring in the next couple of months.
