WWE’s Internal Response To SmackDown Fan Turnout In MSG

WWE presented SmackDown at Madison Square Garden this week, and they usually make the night special when they play the famous venue. This week was no different, and the company is very happy about the turnout.

Sean Ross Sapp noted on Fightful Select that WWE was very happy with the turnout in the World’s Most Famous Arena for SmackDown this week.

“It goes without saying, but WWE was very happy about the ticket sales for MSG.”

It was also noted that WWE President Nick Khan attended the Madison Square Garden show. MSG events generally attract big names, and this week was no different.

On another topic, there was some internal frustration in WWE over the heavy censorship of SmackDown this week. They blacked out the screen any time they heard an undesirable fan chant, leading some to believe it was WWE dropping the feed.
