Sami Zayn is one of the biggest babyfaces in WWE right now and he did the impossible by topping GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40. Zayn also had a solid match with Chad Gable, but Zayn’s entrance before that certainly interested fans in a big way. WWE’s internal reaction to the entrance has also been revealed.
Sami Zayn aimed to express gratitude to Chad Gable for the guidance and training sessions that helped him defeat GUNTHER at WrestleMania 40 and win the WWE Intercontinental title. He did so by offering Gable a title match on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
As Sami Zayn made his way to the ring, he could be seen coming out through the crowd and interacting with all of his fans in attendance, in what was undoubtedly one of the best entrances in recently memory.
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select, it was reported that there were solid reviews for Sami Zayn’s entrance backstage in WWE.
“As one would imagine, there were rave reviews internally for Sami Zayn’s entrance.”
Chad Gable betrayed Sami Zayn after losing to him on RAW this week, after which Zayn made it clear he would have his revenge. We will have to wait and see how WWE will continue to book their feud in the coming weeks.
