WWE has their eye on a few AEW talent, as Tony Khan signs who he can to deals that he wants to lock down. Amid the conversations about Jade Cargill jumping ship, it appears that WWE wants more members of the AEW roster.
BWE saw a tweet that said, “There’s a very high interest from WWE on potentially landing Ricky Stars when he becomes a free agent. Keep in mind that Cody Rhodes and Ricky Stars are very close friends.” Then they had a very interesting reaction.
The proven WWE insider replied with a quote retweet and “yes.” So, there is obvious interest in Ricky Starks.
Ricky Starks has been backstage in WWE before. He was famously caught with Cody Rhodes prior to the Royal Rumble. That caught a lot of attention, but Starks wasn’t spotted at WrestleMania.
Only time will tell if seeing Ricky Starks around WWE will be commonplace. He has a very strong connection with Cody Rhodes, and like Jade Cargill is rumored as well, he is also apparently in WWE’s crosshairs to sign him up whenever the time is right.
