Durign Wrestling Obsever Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke about WWE’s current television rights talks. It was stated that the expectation is for the USA Network to keep WWE RAW and WWE NXT.

“The belief is that WWE RAW and NXT are staying on USA Network, but WWE is looking for a huge increase in price for both of those shows, especially RAW from 465 to like 700.”

It was also noted that the feeling is that FOX isn’t “going to go for the 300, which is what WWE is trying to get out of SmackDown.” After all, FOX has already started to show signs that they are separating from WWE. It was also noted that WWE isn’t married to Friday for SmackDown’s air date.

We will have to see what WWE ends up doing with their next television rights deals. The fact that Triple H was spotted with Jeff Bezos at New York Fashion Week is a very interesting detail. After all, Amazon Prime could be interested in picking up the blue brand.
