Will Ospreay took to his Instagram and uploaded a post, revealing that his grandmother Patsy passed away and he received the sad news the night before the Dynamite and Collision tapings.
Ospreay reflected on the profound influence his grandparents had on his life, describing how their enduring relationship and joyful teasing of each other embodied the qualities he aspires to have as he grows older. He fondly remembered his nanny’s laugh, which always brought a smile to his face, and expressed sadness over not hearing it again. However, he cherishes the memories he shared with her and acknowledges the role she and his grandad played in shaping who he is today.
Ospreay thanked his nanny for all the love and support she gave him, humorously recalling a childhood memory of bringing a dead mouse into her kitchen. He expressed his everlasting love for Nanny Patsy and gratitude to everyone backstage who kept him busy and offered emotional support during this tough time. He deeply appreciates the outreach from those who have shown him compassion and support.

Heart is completely broken that I’m on the other side of the planet & can’t be there for my beautiful mum & my grandad.
I cannot begin to tell you how this woman & my grandad are the embodiment of what I’ve always wanted to be when I get older. They met when they teenagers and have stuck together by each other sides just ripping the piss outta one another & smiling whilst doing it.
Hearing her little laugh will always bring a smile to my face and I’m sad that I won’t ever hear that again but I’ll cherish every little memory I had with you as both you & grandad have helped play a role in who I wanna be right now.
Thank you so much for every little bit of support & love that you gave me, sorry for bringing in a dead mouse into your kitchen when I was little.
