Two Additional Matches Announced for WWE Backlash

WWE is gearing up for its highly anticipated second international Premium Live Event, WWE Backlash France, scheduled for May 4, 2024, at the LDLC Arena in Décines-Charpieu within Lyon Metropolis, France.

Thus far, the event has unveiled only three matches, both showcasing the pinnacle of men’s wrestling with the World Championships on the line. However, the anticipation reached new heights during tonight’s edition of SmackDown as two more exciting bouts were officially announced for WWE Backlash France.

The scheduled No.1 contender’s match for the WWE Women’s Championship between Tiffany Stratton and Naomi ended without decisive winner as Nia Jax decimated both Naomi and champion, Bayley at ringside giving the opening to Stratton to deliver a moonsault on both of them to make a huge statement. Witnessing the chaos, General Manager Nick Aldis announced a triple threat match pitting Bayley against both Naomi and Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s title at WWE Backlash.

On the other hand, special guest for the WWE Draft and former SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long announced that Randy Orton and Kevin Owens will battle Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga after The Viper assisted KO in his attack on them for their actions from last week, building further anticipation for the event in France.
