Tony Khan Confirms Brody King’s Health Status After Dangerous Spot at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

AEW Forbidden Door was truly a night of memorable moments and solid matches, as fans in Long Island were treated to tons of solid action throughout. However, there was a spot featuring Brody King during the show that got fans concerned and now Tony Khan has provided his health status.

During the pre-show for Forbidden Door, Malakai Black and Brody King faced off against Tomohiro Ishii and Kyle O’Reilly, The Undisputed Kingdom’s Roderick Strong and Gabe Kidd vs. Private Party in a fatal four-way match.

During the match, there was one instance where Tomohiro Ishii grabbed Brody King and nailed a very dangerous brainbuster on King, where he was spiked directly onto his head. This spot greatly concerned fans despite the fact King and Black were able to win the match.

While speaking during the post-Forbidden Door media scrum, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about Brody King’s health status after the dangerous spot. Khan confirmed that King would be okay and would be fit to wrestle, but acknowledged how dangerous the brainbuster move was.

”Brody King will be okay, he’s okay. That was a scary move and he is okay, he will be able to continue wrestling and everything’s okay there. Tomohiro Ishii is a dangerous wrestler.”

It certainly great to know that Brody King did not suffer any injury and is perfectly health following that concerning spot. Regardless, we will have to wait and see what’s next in store for The House of Black.
