While there have been a plethora of giant men in the industry who have made a name for themselves taking the smaller ones down every week. However, very rare instances opened up when mega giant stars came out to give competition to the wrestling giants and take them down with raw power.
Back in the Attitude Era, numerous names like The Undertaker and Kane were considered to be a nightmare who could take anyone down. However, things went astonishingly interesting when Mabel, later known as Viscera, came out and took the Deadman down. However, both men then came together in a faction named the Ministry of Darkness which is still remembered by numerous in the industry.
In recent QnA session on Patreon, The Deadman addressed Mabel’s involvement in the faction and jokingly stated that he added Mabel to the group to avoid any future matches with him.
“I put Mabel in there so I made sure I didn’t have to work with him. That’s when Mabel became Viscera. Ron and John became The Acolytes.”
Though things didn’t end up that way, a betrayal from Viscera followed by a match with the Undertaker would have been a massive storyline. Ringside News will keep you updated with the latest news from the wrestling industry.
