The Rock Fulfils Special Request from Make-A-Wish Child in Hospice Care

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is renowned worldwide as one of the biggest and most influential stars in professional wrestling. Beyond his fame, he is also widely regarded as one of the kindest individuals. Recently, he made a heartfelt gesture by fulfilling a special request from a Make-A-Wish child who is in hospice care.

The multi-time World Champion is not just one of the most globally recognized stars but is also known for his kindness. The Rock is undoubtedly generous, often lending a helping hand to those in need.

The Great One took to his Instagram and uploaded a video, revealing that he was sharing a special request from Make-A-Wish, a foundation close to his heart, where he has granted wishes for years. He received a ‘rush’ wish, which means time is critical. The wish came from Lily Guerrero, a four-year-old girl on home hospice care, who watches ‘Moana’ daily.

Lily’s heartfelt wish is for him to sing ‘You’re Welcome’ to her, recorded so she can listen to it. Her parents requested that The Rock share Lily’s wish on social media to celebrate her spirit and strength, and to send positive energy her way. Despite being unable to verbally communicate due to a feeding tube, Lily can still hear, see, and react, and she’s incredibly excited about this opportunity. He then proceeded to sing ‘You’re Welcome’ and fulfilled the request of the little girl.

“The sharing of this request is in the spirit of Make-A-Wish, which is a foundation I hold near and dear to my heart. I’ve had the honor of granting wishes for years now. Every once in a while, I get a request like this one I just received. It’s a special Make-A-Wish request called a ‘Rush’ wish. A ‘Rush’ wish means exactly what the name implies because time is not on our side for this particular wish. The wish is for a little girl named Lily Guerrero, who is four years old and currently in home hospice. Lily watches Moana every day, all day. Her wish is for Dwayne Johnson to sing ‘You’re Welcome’ to her and have it recorded so she can listen to it.

Lily’s parents have asked me to share her wish on social media to celebrate Lily’s spirit, strength, and mana, and to send positive energy back to her. Though Lily is no longer verbally communicating due to being on a feeding tube, she can still hear, see, and react. She’s super excited about this.”

Earlier this year, The Rock also donated a lot of money to a foundation in honor of little girl who died of cancer. Nonetheless, fans will always appreciate The Rock for all the good things he has done over the years and that is unlikely to ever change.

Are you touched by The Rock’s ability to fulfil such requests? Is he one of the kindest people ever? Let us know in the comments!
