Taz to Miss 5/7 AEW Dynamite Due to Knee Procedure

Taz is known for his success in ECW and WWE and has been part of AEW’s commentary team for few years. Due to ongoing knee issues, it appears he will miss this week’s Dynamite for a knee procedure.

Taz recently provided medical update, explaining how years of intense training and heavy lifting have affected his body. He revealed that he needs joint replacements for both shoulders and both knees, totaling four surgeries, but he’s not planning to have the operations just yet.

The pro wrestling legend took to Twitter today and revealed that he will not be present on AEW Dynamite this week. Taz stated that due to knee treatment and a procedure on his other knee this week, making travel impossible. He expects to be back next week. He encouraged fans to watch tonight’s show, assuring them that it’ll be great.

”Unfortunately, I will not be at Dynamite tonight. Been getting some treatment on my knee & procedure on opposite knee this week. Flying/travel just not possible, I’ll be back next week. Tonight show will be awesome! Make sure you watch LIVE tonight!”

We will have to wait and see whether Taz will end up taking an extended absence from AEW television due to his ongoing knee issues. Regardless, fans will certainly miss seeing him on AEW Dynamite this week.
