Taz Calls Out Jordynne Grace for Using His Trademarked Catchphrase

Taz is known for his success in ECW and WWE and has been part of AEW’s commentary team for few years. He is a legitimate tough guy and even has trademarked a few catchphrases, but it appears he called out Jordynne Grace for using one of his catchphrases recently.

TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace has seen a lot of attention over the past month as she appeared on NXT television a few times, even having a solid match against Roxanne Perez at NXT Battleground.

Jordynne Grace recently took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of herself at the gym. What’s interesting is the fact that she used one of Taz’s most famous catchphrases in her caption.

”Beat me if you can. Survive if I let you.”

This led to Taz responding to Jordynne Grace’s tweet, stating that it’s a hit and a miss and pointing out the fact that the catchphrase is a trademark.

”Swing and a miss! #trademarked”

A fan then took aim at Taz and stated that Jordynne Grace used it in a tweet and didn’t have it on a t-shirt. Taz then responded to the fan by stating that there is a lot more to it than people think. In a separate tweet, Taz even pointed out he has more trademarks as well.

”There’s a lot more to it than the way you see it… Just let me handle my business, but thank you for the question.”

Trademarks are serious business for many people and Taz is one of them, so it is not hard to see why he would respond in such a way to Jordynne Grace using one of his trademarked catchphrases. Regardless, fans hope both parties will move on from the situation.
