AEW is brimming with talent and that also includes stars who aren’t always seen on television for lengthy periods of time. In fact, an AEW star has returned to the company following a three-month absence, just in time for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
During the June 29th edition of AEW Collision taping, which took place after the 26th June edition of AEW Dynamite, Serena Deeb faced off against Kelly Madden. After the match, Deeb called for competition at her level, prompting Riho to return and accept the challenge.
This marked Riho’s first appearance in over three months on AEW television. The last time fans saw Riho was during the Big Business edition of AEW Dynamite, where he faced off against Willow Nightingale in a solid singles match.
Regardless, it is great to see Riho being back on AEW television for the time being, so we will have to wait and see how she will fare against Serena Deeb, as the match will definitely be worthwhile.
