AEW standout Skye Blue has frequently expressed her passion for hardcore wrestling and has even participated in several intense matchups. However, the woman who emerged from massive fan controversy and was overwhelmed with the support she got, now has her sights set on competing in the first women’s Blood & Guts match in AEW.
In a recent interview with Iridian Fierro for WGN Radio, Skyr Blue shared her deep admiration for the Blood & Guts match, calling it her favourite AEW Dynamite event. Although she wasn’t wrestling during a recent show, Blue watched from behind the cameras with friends and production staff.
She shared her strong desire to participate in the match despite others around her dismissing the idea. Further, Skye Blue emphasized that being the first woman in a Blood & Guts match would bring her to tears.
AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts is set to return on July 24th next month. Meanwhile, Skye Blue has been making headlines after her involvement in the recent Miami Swim Week. This could potentially put her name in the discussion for the potential ground-breaking opportunity at AEW Blood and Guts.
