Shinsuke Nakamura was a huge star in NJPW before he decided to make his way to WWE. Seven years after his debut, fans feel Nakamura just has not been booked as well as he should have been. That said, Nakamura appeared during today’s DDT’s Ultimate Party event.
At DDT Pro-Wrestling’s Ultimate Party event, veteran joshi Saki Akai officially ended her in-ring career. She began her retirement tour since May and competed in numerous matches since then.
Saki Akai was later honored via a video package and bouquets of flowers were brought out for her. Video messages from the likes of Hiroshi Tanahashi and even Shinsuke Nakamura aired. In the video, Nakamura wished Saki Akai a happy retirement and shared more kind words for the retired star.
It was certainly great to see Shinsuke Nakamura making an appearance at the show to give his respect to Saki Akai, who has worked hard over the last 12 years. Regardless, we’ll have to see what’s next in store for Nakamura in WWE.
