Shawn Michaels Open to Future NXT Shows at UFC Apex

WWE NXT presented one of the most enthralling shows last month, NXT Battleground, which took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, with WWE’s developmental hosting the show for the first time in Sin City.

The show was widely appreciated for its stellar showdowns that saw TNA’s Jordynne Grace competing in crossover championship match, the crowning of the first-ever NXT Women’s North American Championship, a hard-hitting NXT Underground match and a power-packed main event between Ethan Page and Trick Williams for the NXT Championship.

During recent media call to promote NXT Heatwave, NXT SVP Shawn Michaels outlined his entire experience producing the show at the UFC Apex. He spoke positively about the venue and called it a great learning experience to put up better shows in the future. Having said that, The Showstopper

When asked about the UFC Apex event and his social media profile, Michaels mentioned that Jordynne Grace brought him the chef hat. He spoke positively about being at the Apex, highlighting it as a great experience where they learned much about improving for future appearances.

Having said that, Shawn Michaels revealed that they would like to return to the UFC Apex for more NXT shows.

“Obviously we would like to use their facalties again.”

After creating history with NXT Battleground, WWE NXT is now set to produce its next PLE coming up this weekend, Heatwave. With the great learning experience gained at the UFC Apex, it will be interesting to see them apply at their upcoming show in Toronto, Canada.
