There were many WWE Superstars who didn’t get to do much during their time in the company and that includes Sanga. In fact, it appears that Sanga has been released from his WWE contract.
Today has brought disappointment to many WWE fans, as the company has chosen to release several stars in its latest round of cuts. Among those affected are Xyon Quinn, Jinder Mahal, and surprisingly, Xia Li. In fact, even Veer Mahan was released right after them as well.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful took to Twitter and reported that Sanga was also released from his WWE contract. This came as no surprise following Veer Mahan’s release as well.

Sanga was part of Indus Sher alongside Veer and Jinder Mahal, with the group being drafted to WWE Raw in the 2023 WWE Draft. Sanga and Veer competed in several matches on Raw over the following months, including appearing at WWE Superstar Spectacle. WWE also released Mahal and Veer on April 19.
Previously, Sanga served as Grayson Waller’s bodyguard in NXT before transitioning to a brief singles career. He later reunited with Veer in NXT, initially teaming up in 2018 before being separated and repackaged.
Sanga’s last match was in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 5, 2024, episode of WWE SmackDown. It remains to be seen what the future holds for Sanga.
