Sammy Guevara has remained one of the staples of AEW television since his debut back in 2019. He always puts his body on the line and that was apparently on AEW Collision last week as well. In fact, he ended up showing off his nasty welts after the bout.
During last week’s episode of AEW Collision, Sammy Guevara squared off against Powerhouse Hobbs in a No Disqualification match. The two went to war with each other as they battered each other’s bodies.
The match included tons of insane spots, but Powerhouse Hobbs was ultimately the victory. Sammy Guevara took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of his back after the bout, which was full of welts. He also described the hectic journey he had last week, including making time for the Collision match as well as flying to Pensacola, Florida for a signing.

”Flew to tv Wednesday morning flew back to Orlando to meet Tay at the airport to take a flight to Pensacola Florida for a signing. AEW needed me Saturday so I changed plans and flew to Collision and had a CRAZY match then flew back to Pensacola for the final day of the signing and finally flew home at night.”
We will have to wait and see what’s next in store for Sammy Guevara, as he has certainly proven just how good he can be inside the squared circle whenever AEW needs him.
