Fuego Del Sol discussed Sammy Guevara’s ongoing absence from AEW and speculates on his potential return. It seems that the Spanish God is going to be back in the ring soon.
Sammy Guevara’s last match took place at AEW WrestleDream, where he teamed up with Konosuke Takeshita and Will Ospreay to defeat Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi.
During recent interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Fuego Del Sol shared an insightful update regarding his close friend, revealing their daily communication and Sammy’s improving condition, hinting at an impending return.
“Yeah, me and Sam, we talk every day. He’s legitimately one of my best friends and a lot of times we don’t even talk wrestling, we talk about all the other crazy stuff in the world going on. He is feeling a lot better and his return is imminent. I definitely thought he was gonna be on Dynamite recently in that 8-Man Street Fight. However, he wasn’t back yet, but I know he wants to come back in a major way. So we’ll see where the tide takes him.”
Sammy Guevara suffered a concussion at AEW WrestleDream and has been out of action ever since. We’re hoping that he can make a return soon, and we’re sure that there are plenty of AEW fans who feel the same way.
We’ll have to see how long it takes for Sammy Guevara to make a return to AEW. If anything, they may just hold that back for a big moment. Keep checking back with us here at Ringside News.
