Robert Stone Steps Into Behind-the-Scenes Role for WWE NXT

WWE has expanded its pool of producers by tapping into the in-ring talents’ expertise. Pete Dunne and Shawn Spears have been among those learning the ropes of match production for WWE Speed and NXT, respectively.

Adding to this trend, there’s a new face stepping into the role of a producer for tonight’s edition of NXT. Fightful Select‘s Corey Brennan reveals that Robert Stone is set to take on this responsibility for the first time. He is slated to co-produce a match between Fallon Henley and Jaida Parker alongside Matt Bloom.

This marks a new venture for Stone, who has primarily been known for his on-screen presence. Notably, with the recent release of Von Wagner, Stone appears to be flying solo in terms of on-screen partnerships. However, there are currently no creative plans in place for him to be paired with another NXT superstar.

It’s interesting to see WWE diversifying its pool of producers, tapping into the talent within its roster to contribute to the production aspect of the shows. As Robert Stone steps into this new role, it will be intriguing to see how he adapts and contributes to the NXT product behind the scenes.
