Ricky Starks has seemingly responded to recent reports with an intriguing post. Rumors have surfaced about him having an arrest case last year in Canada, which caused issues with AEW.
According to rumors spread by a Reddit post, it was claimed that The Absolute star was arrested after a drunken fight in Calgary following his Owen Hart Cup win last year. They also mentioned that Starks has been rejecting booking pitches from the company.
In light of such rumors, Ricky Starks took to his Instagram story and posted a photo of himself standing next to a police car, accompanied by the song “Sound of da Police” by KRS-One, as he was seemingly mocking his arrest rumors.
It was previously reported that there is no truth to the arrest rumors whatsoever as AEW and Ricky Starks have denied the allegations. With that said, Starks did turn down one pitch concerning his tag team with Big Bill.
Ricky Starks has now been seen since the March 30 episode of AEW Collision, so only time will tell when The Absolute star will make his triumphant return to AEW television once and for all.
