Ricky Starks Reveals How He Really Feels About CM Punk

CM Punk is one of the biggest yet controversial figures in the wrestling world, known to be involved in multiple real-life altercations in his workplaces, most notably WWE and AEW. While many have expressed their view about the former WWE Champion, another person followed suit.

Popular AEW Star Ricky Starks in a recent conversation with WhatCulture revealed that while many people have a certain dislike for CM Punk, he had no issues with The Best in the World and did not get influenced by other people’s opinions.

The former AEW World Tag Team Champion further stated that CM Punk never did anything wrong with him and even revealed his extra efforts towards him on the show he was an integral part of, AEW Collision.

“I have no issues with (CM) Punk, I don’t give a f*ck what anybody tries to tell me, I don’t care. He has never done me wrong and you can have your opinions on him, but you shouldn’t vilify someone for thinking differently than you. And I will say that until I’m blue in the face. He really went out of his way to really try make something on that Collision show for me, and I feel like it was working.”

While Ricky Starks has been noticeably absent from AEW television programming, CM Punk is currently recuperating from his triceps injury but continuing to make sporadic appearances on WWE television.

Moreover, he was also announced for WWE 2K24’s ECW Punk Pack which dropped his first look recently, marking his return to the game after almost a decade. With his recovery process going in full force, we will have to wait and see when the Second City Saint gets cleared to compete in the ring.
