The veteran wrestler’s recent interview with Metro UK sheds light on his current perspective regarding his career and retirement plans. Initially, he intended to retire at the age of fifty, but now at the age of 49, he is reassessing his decision. His body is still in great shape, and he feels motivated to continue his wrestling career.

Mysterio noted he is paying close attention to how his body is reacting to the demands of wrestling and his overall physical well-being. As long as his coordination and health remain in good condition, he plans to keep wrestling for the foreseeable future.

“So I think, I knew I had a number in mind, and I said I didn’t want to go past that. But I’m truly listening to how my body has been reacting. and my body has been reacting great, and my motivation is still on point. I want to make sure that everything, coordination wise, is still on point in order for me to continue. As of yet, you know, I’m good!

Rey Mysterio and Andrade defeated Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar at WrestleMania 40 last week. We will have to wait and see what’s next in store for Mysterio.
