Rey Mysterio Admits Kofi Kingston Knocked Him Out After King of The Ring Loss

Rey Mysterio is a true veteran in the world of professional wrestling, and his influence in the industry is undeniable. He came up short against Kofi Kingston as part of The King of The Ring tournament and admitted Kingston knocked him out.

Kofi Kingston achieved a momentous win during the initial round of the King of the Ring tournament, shocking the audience at the WWE Live Event in Macon, GA on Sunday, May 12. Engaging in an incredible bout with Rey Mysterio, Kingston emerged victorious, earning himself spot in the quarterfinals of the competition.

WWE took to their official Instagram and uploaded a video of Rey Mysterio following his shocking loss to Kofi Kingston. Rey Mysterio gave Kingston his flowers and admitted that Kingston knocked him out.

”I didn’t think my day would be as hard as it was today. So, I tip my mask off to Kofi. He caught me right across the neck and jaw and he did knock me out for six, seven seconds. So, congratulations Kofi. Hope you can do it all over again.”
