NXT Women’s North American Title Qualifying Match Results for 5/14 WWE NXT

The road to making history for the NXT women’s division began last week with the top 12 women who impressed the higher-ups in the NXT Combine to earn a spot in qualifying matches to crown the first-ever NXT Women’s North American Champion in a ladder match at their upcoming special event, Battleground set to take place next month at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

The opening bout of the show for tonight’s edition of NXT saw a back-and-forth contest between Sol Ruca and Izzy Dame that saw the high-flying and athletic Ruca score the win and become the first woman to qualify for the ladder match.

The second match saw the dominant Lash Legend, with the timely distraction from her ally from Meta Four, Jakara Jackson, put down RAW’s Ivy Nile and secured the win to earn the coveted spot in the match at NXT Battleground.

With two spots captured by Lash Legend and Sol Ruca, it will be interesting to see which NXT stars manage to capture the remaining four spots as the road to NXT Battleground is moving fast paced ahead to create history at the UFC Apex.
