NXT Star Drops Photo From The Rock’s WrestleMania 40 Training Camp

The Rock made his return to the squared circle at WrestleMania 40 after eight years since his last match that ended in record time and over a decade after competing in a full-fledged match.

Previously, it was reported that WWE sought assistance from a trio of NXT talents to assist in his preparation and shake off any ring rust. They were revealed to be the NXT faction, Gallus, who played significant role in training The Rock for his anticipated return to the squared circle.

Gallus, consisting of the real-life brothers Joe and Mark Coffey, along with Wolfgang, have been fixtures in WWE’s developmental territory. They provided valuable expertise to The Great One’s training regimen, conducting sessions in Los Angeles, California.

Now, weeks after WrestleMania 40 has come to its conclusion, NXT star Joe Coffey took to his X to drop a photo from those training sessions posing with The Final Boss alongside his cohorts, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang.

“GALLUS X FINAL BOSS. @TheRock.”

The training camp proved to be effective as The Rock delivered a spectacular in-ring performance and emerged victorious alongside Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on WrestleMania 40 Saturday. While he is currently on hiatus, the Final Boss has made it clear that he would return to WWE to continue his saga with Rhodes hinting at a potential showdown between the duo.
