WWE has established a collaborative relationship with TNA Wrestling, reminiscent of its own version of the Forbidden Door, with NXT Superstars making special appearances in TNA and vice versa. This week, fans were taken by surprise during the TNA television taping by multiple surprise appearances by NXT stars.
On Friday night, TNA Wrestling taped episodes of Impact in Philadelphia, PA. The first stunner of the night saw NXT star Charlie Dempsey, the son of WWE legend William Regal, make his appearance on the show.
Additionally, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace had issued another one of her open challenges for her title. Surprisingly, it was answered by a star from the NXT women’s division, Izzi Dame as seen in a footage obtained by Ringside News.
This made her the second woman from WWE NXT to answer the challenge after Tatum Paxley stood across the ring with The Juggernaut few weeks ago with her TNA Knockouts Championship at stake. With the WWE TNA collaboration in full force, it will be interesting to see it unfold further in the coming weeks with more surprise appearances.
