You never know where shots will be fired in the pro wrestling world. Obviously, may fans and wrestlers have their own opinions about when any company’s best era was, and Gabe Kidd sent a clear message with this latest post.
Gabe Kidd, who is a current NJPW champion, issued a bold challenge to top stars from both WWE and AEW, claiming he could defeat them in minutes.
The landscape of NJPW has evolved significantly in recent years, highlighted by the rise of new stars like Gabe Kidd. Previously a Young Lion dojo trainee, Kidd is now the NJPW Strong Openweight Champion, having won the title from AEW’s Eddie Kingston in May.
Kidd has now set his sights on more AEW stars and a notable WWE figure in Cody Rhodes. He did so by sharing an old photo while dissing everyone pictured.
The British star shared a throwback photo from 2018, featuring Chris Jericho with the IWGP Intercontinental Title, Kenny Omega with the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, and Cody Rhodes as the IWGP US Champion.

Kidd is positioning himself to start a beef with some of the biggest names in wrestling, indicating his ambition to dominate across major wrestling promotions. This dig also placed himself about AEW and WWE talent, since The American Nightmare is currently the Undisputed World Champion. The challenge adds an intriguing element to the ongoing dynamic between NJPW, AEW, and WWE. Only time will tell if they ever settle it in the ring.
