Minnesota Sports Events President Reveals Why City Isn’t Hosting WrestleMania 41

WrestleMania 41 is set to be a major spectacle, with WWE confirming that the event will be held in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium on April 19 and April 20, 2025. The announcement has fans eagerly awaiting this two-night event in Sin City, which will definitely be a worthwhile experience for everyone involved.

Minnesota had previously been considered as host city for WrestleMania 41. Wendy Blackshaw, President of Minnesota Sports and Events, confirmed to the Minnesota Tribune that Minneapolis was a finalist to host WrestleMania 41 at U.S. Bank Stadium.

However, WWE chose a different location due to “new ownership.” Despite the setback, Blackshaw indicated that Minnesota is in talks with WWE for future events, expressing optimism about the possibility of hosting other WWE events eventually.

We were informed by WWE that Minnesota would not host WrestleMania in 2025 due to a change in direction by new ownership,” said Wendy Blackshaw, Minnesota Sports and Events’s president and chief executive. “Although disappointed, we are in discussions with WWE about future events in Minnesota. We are optimistic that Minnesota will host WWE events here in the future.
