Matt Hardy Addresses The Hardys Having One Last Run in WWE

Matt Hardy made his return to TNA at the Rebellion pay-per-view after his AEW contract expired and he has been part of TNA television since then. The same happened with Jeff Hardy who returned to TNA at Against All Odds. With both Hardys back in the company, Matt Hardy has now addressed the duo having one last run in WWE.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Matt Hardy expressed a desire to have a successful stint in TNA Wrestling and then potentially return to WWE with Jeff Hardy for a brief stint before ultimately being inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Ending his career on a high note: “I would like to do TNA and have a hell of a run there, and then I almost feel like now, just the destiny has revealed itself in many ways, I almost feel Jeff and I, we end up returning to WWE, do something small and then go onto the Hall of Fame. That’s a best case scenario.”

When asked about what it would take for WWE to trust Jeff Hardy again, Matt Hardy noted Jeff’s determination to rebuild trust by returning to TNA and showing off his growth and reliability. Matt also pointed out the collaboration between TNA and WWE and indicated that Jeff Hardy aims to showcase his transformation through a successful tenure at TNA.

“That’s a great question. I think Jeff really wanted to come back to TNA to continue to build equity, and he knows that TNA and WWE are working together. I have friends in the WWE, I have spoken with people in WWE. So I think Jeff just wants to once again just show people how he is a different human being. The way to put equity into that is to go to TNA, have a kickass run, and show people he’s on his best behavior.”

Jeff Hardy also made it clear he wants to rebuild himself, so we will have to wait and see whether The Hardys will end up having one final run in WWE somewhere down the line before retiring.
