Mark Henry’s debut at the AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view in 2021 was memorable moment. Though he eventually left the company this year, he had his share of significant moments in AEW. Recently, Henry revealed why he had to drop his most iconic catchphrase on AEW Rampage.

At the start of AEW Rampage’s TV run in 2021, fans eagerly anticipated Mark Henry’s signature line, “Well, that’s enough talk. It’s time for the main event!” before each Friday night main event.

During a recent interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Henry shared why he eventually had to stop using the catchphrase. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion explained that he had to drop the catchphrase because it got too over with fans, even more so than the talent.

“It was too over. I wasn’t a talent. You can’t be more over than the talent.”
