Logan Paul and Tyrese Haliburton Unfazed by 6/28 WWE SmackDown Loss

The WWE Money in the Bank Premium Live Event is set to take place next week in Toronto, Canada. The June 28 edition of Friday Night SmackDown featured a qualifying match for the Men’s side, where LA Knight secured a win despite Logan Paul’s best efforts. Logan Paul has since commented on his loss.

The triple-threat match featured heated rivals LA Knight and WWE United States Champion Logan Paul, accompanied by Indiana Pacers player Tyrese Haliburton and Legado Del Fantasma leader Santos Escobar. Tensions escalated as their ongoing feud, combined with Santos Escobar’s aspirations, made for an intense bout.

In the final moments, Tyrese attempted to pass brass knuckles to Logan Paul, but New York Knicks player Jalen Brunson, who was at ringside, intervened. This distraction allowed LA Knight to capitalize with roll-up pin on Paul for the victory. Following the match, when Logan and Tyrese attempted an attack on LA Knight, Jalen Brunson entered the ring with a steel chair to even the odds and fend them off.

WWE took to their official Twitter and uploaded a video of Logan Paul and Tyrese Haliburton after their less-than-favorable outcome at Friday Night SmackDown. Both of them made it clear they were unfazed by it.

Logan Paul: ”Hey look, the ref counted a little fast tonight. Didn’t qualify for Money In The Bank, no problem, still the champ.”

Tyrese Haliburton: ”I’m just glad New York won something. I mean, they all feel good out there for good for them. Hope you all sleep well tonight.”

Logan Paul: ”Yeah, ya’ll suck.”

On the other hand, Jalen Brunson had fantastic time at Friday Night SmackDown, stating that it was a childhood dream come true. We will have to wait and see whether Jalen Brunson and Tyrese Haliburton will make more appearances on WWE television somewhere down the line.
