Jon Moxley Can’t Fathom Bryan Danielson Ending In-Ring Career For Good

Jon Moxley has been part of the AEW family after leaving WWE in 2019 and he has accomplished a great deal since then. There are very few people he respects in the business and Bryan Danielson is one of them. With news that Danielson might be hanging up his boots for good, it appears Moxley simply can’t fathom that.

The American Dragon returned earlier this month on AEW Collision and would go on to defeat Ricky Starks at AEW All Out. On last week’s Collision, Danielson stated that time is running out on his in-ring career, which concerned fans. Reports stated that Danielson will remain special attraction even after his full-time career ends.

While speaking with Cincinnati ESPN 1530, Jon Moxley talked about Bryan Danielson ending his in-ring career for good. Moxley made it clear that he simply can’t fathom Danielson hanging up his pro wrestling boots forever.

“I find it hard to imagine a world where a healthy Bryan Danielson stops wrestling at all, but I definitely feel like he’s a hundred percent serious saying he wants to wind it down and not be wrestling as frequently, on the road and being away from his kids every week. I one hundred percent buy that, it’s true. I find it hard to imagine him actively being [for sure] he’s never going to wrestle again, I find that hard to imagine, not saying it couldn’t happen.”

That said, even Bryan Danielson doubts he will absolutely be done with his in-ring career. He is also set to team up with Claudio Castagnoli on this week’s episode of AEW Collision in a tag team match, so we’ll have to see how that match will turn out.
