Jey Uso has been on an absolute tear as a babyface on Monday Night RAW over the past few months but it has been made abundantly clear he wants nothing to do with the Wyatt Sicks and after RAW this week, Uso made it clear he will run away whenever the Wyatt Sicks appear.
Chad Gable and Jey Uso were set to face off on the July 8 edition of Monday Night RAW. Their confrontation last week saw Gable retreat after a menacing encounter with the Wyatt Sicks, who have been targeting him recently, aiming to settle the score in the ring tonight.
The match was a thrilling back-and-forth contest, capturing the WWE Universe’s attention with an instant classic performance. As the bout neared its conclusion, the lights began to flicker. Just before darkness enveloped the arena, Jey hit Gable with a spear and quickly exited the ring.
Amid the smoke filling the ring, Nikki Cross from the Wyatt Sicks reappeared, causing Gable to flee once again. Consistent with previous weeks, she left a box at the announcer’s desk before the segment concluded.
While speaking on RAW Talk after the show, Jey Uso was asked about the Wyatt Sicks invading his match on RAW this week. Uso made it clear that whenever he saw the faction, he would simply bolt and run away, pointing out how the faction always managed to get Chad Gable.
“I’ve been saying it for weeks. Jackie, the Wyatts are here. Chad over there keeps getting got, but I’m not. So when the lights go out, scream and shout, we gots to go. It’s time to go, so YEET. You feel me? Okay. So if you spot something, we’ll just yeet and bolt. Just like now. It’s time to go, so.”
We will have to wait and see whether The Wyatt Sicks will eventually target Jey Uso one day as well, as they are clearly just invested in going after Chad Gable for the time being on WWE television.
