Jerry Lawler Removed From WWE Roster Page

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler has been part of WWE for so long that many fans can’t ever imagine him with any other promotion. His decades-long association with WWE has made him a legendary figure, but it seems to have ended for good as Lawler has been removed from the WWE roster page.

PWInsider reported that Jerry Lawler has officially parted ways with WWE. Sources suggest that WWE quietly chose not to renew Lawler’s broadcasting contract, marking the end of partnership that began in December 1992 when he made a surprise debut on WWF Prime Time Wrestling. It was further noted that the contract with WWE expired at the start of 2024. We have also reported that Jerry Lawler is currently under Legends deal with WWE.

WWE recently updated its official roster page on WWE.com, removing Jerry “The King” Lawler, who was previously listed until just yesterday. In his place, a new page for newly debuted NXT star Je’Von Evans has been added, along with profiles for Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe.

Lawler’s last appearance on WWE television was in November when he helped select participants for the Iron Survivor Match qualifiers on NXT. Jim Ross also believes he and Jerry Lawler will reunite somewhere down the road, so we’ll have to wait and see whether that will happen in the end.
