Jade Cargill has established herself as a dominant force in the promotion, showcasing impressive in-ring skills and a commanding presence. Her rapid rise culminated in her being crowned TBS Women’s Champion, which made her a star. While she returned just recently to AEW, it appears Cargill is expected to join WWE soon.
Jade Cargill already returned on AEW Collision last week and she would then get shot at Kris Statlander’s TBS Women’s Championship at this week’s AEW Rampage, which has already been taped following Dynamite.
Jade Cargill would end up losing to Kris Statlander despite her best efforts. According to Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, Jade Cargill would be ‘finishing up’ with AEW and will be WWE-bound in the future. Fightful further noted that this week’s TV tapings could very well be the last appearance for Cargill as it was claimed that “the wide rumor within rosters of both WWE and AEW is that Cargill will be heading to WWE.”
Fightful also added that there was at least previously thought to have been an option in Jade Cargill’s deal with AEW, but it wasn’t known if the company or Cargill held that option. There is no word yet on WWE making a specific offer to Cargill, and it was stressed that things can, and often do, change in the business. Regardless, we will have to wait and see when Cargill will make her way to WWE in the future.
