Jackie Redmond Warns Against Scammers Stealing Her Identity

WWE Superstars have fans all over the world who would love to receive a message from them. Sadly, scammers have been exploiting this tactic for years, targeting fans gullible enough to send them money. It is never the celebrity in question, and it’s always a scam. This is an issue Jackie Redmond had to deal with recently.

A fan recently reached out to Jackie to inform her that someone was trying to steal her identity to make money dishonestly. The fan tweeted, “@Jackie_Redmond I think I got another spam message on Instagram from someone pretending to be you. Your name isn’t Williams in any way, is it? lol”

The WWE host responded, “PSA: I will never DM anyone on Instagram asking for money. I am getting messages like this pretty much daily at this point. I repeat. I do not DM anyone for money NOR do I have any ‘private’ accounts. My public accounts are my only accounts.”

Hopefully, this will deter scammers from targeting pro wrestling fans. If anything, it highlights that you can’t trust everything you see on social media, especially in direct messages.
