Jack Perry’s Status For AEW Collision After CM Punk’s Release

AEW decided it was time to fire CM Punk after he had a physical confrontation with Jack Perry at All In London. That situation was quite messy, and both men were suspended, pending an investigation. Although Punk was fired, there is no word on whether Perry will suffer the same fate.

We previously reported that some talent believe that both CM Punk and Jack Perry are at fault in the situation. Still, the only person we have heard an escalated punishment for was the Second City Savior.

PW Insider noted that Jack Perry is not backstage for AEW Collision this week. It appears that his suspension will continue.

CM Punk threatened to quit, but he wrestled that “Real” World Title match in Wembley Stadium anyway. After he won that match, Tony Khan suspended CM Punk and also Jack Perry, something that Punk was informed of through his attorney.

AEW also had their production team and announcer stall for time, because they didn’t know if CM Punk was even going to go out for his match against Samoa Joe. Tony Khan was later asked about the reported heated conversation he had with CM Punk,

Tony Khan was almost in the chaos of this situation, and things were not pretty at all. CM Punk also wanted to fight Miro in the middle of everything, but then that story was finally cleared up as it was misreported at the time.
