Gable Steveson joined WWE some time ago and had been training through dark matches and faced uncertainty about his status on WWE television. Last week, he was released by WWE, and now his agent claims that multiple NFL teams have reached out with interest.
Gable Steveson’s release from WWE didn’t come as complete surprise, given his difficulty in connecting with audiences despite his earlier expression of satisfaction with his role just a month ago.
Gable Steveson was scheduled to appear on Ariel Helwani’s “The MMA Hour” on Wednesday, but he had to cancel due to a scheduling conflict. Despite his absence, Steveson’s manager Dave Martin provided a statement that Helwani read during the show, revealing that many NFL teams have shown interest in Gable Steveson.
”Gable Steveson is very grateful for the opportunities he had with WWE and would like to thank everybody in the organization who helped him get there. He would also like to thank the fans who supported him on his professional wrestling journey. Now, Gable is ready to resume competing against elite level competition and looks forward to sharing big news with you all very soon.
“Multiple NFL teams have reached out to Gable Steveson. He has also been training at Kill Cliff FC with Henri Hooft and Robbie Lawler. There is no shortage of opportunities to compete.”
We have also reported the reason for his WWE departure, was simply because he had big money contract. We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for Gable Steveson next.
