Gable Steveson, who signed with WWE some time ago, had been gaining experience in the wrestling world by participating in dark matches. Although his status on WWE television remained uncertain, it appears he has now been released by WWE as part of the latest slew of cuts.
Last month, WWE shocked fans in a big way as they ended up releasing several notable stars, including Xyon Quinn, Xia Li, Jinder Mahal, Von Wagner and then, Cameron Grimes
That trend continued this week as the company bid goodbye to more talent. The recent wave of releases included some recognizable names from NXT: Ezekiel Balogun, Julian Baldi, Trey Bearhill, Emms Diaz—known for the WWE Roku Channel series “WWE: Next Gen,” Valentina Feroz, Drew Gulak, Keyshawn Leflore, Darrell Mason, Vlad Pavlenko, and Kiyah Saint. Afterwards, even Boa was released by the company.
According to F4WOnline’s Dave Meltzer, WWE has released Gable Steveson from his contract as well, which may not come as a surprise to many as he was simply unable to connect with fans.

Just last month, Gable Steveson had admitted he was satisfied with his position in WWE. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see what the future holds for Gable Steveson, as he is no longer part of the WWE family.
