Since their launch into the wrestling industry, AEW has managed to get a lot of stars and personnel from WWE to use their experience and fame to develop the company. From Jon Moxley to Adam Copeland, numerous big names have joined the company and have turned out to be the reason for the success of AEW.
Another former WWE name has now joined AEW. Carlos Cabrera served multiple roles during his time in WWE. In his almost 30 year run with the company starting 1993, Cabrera has fulfilled numerous responsibilities including a commentator and a host.
During the 4/17 episode of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan announced that they had added Cabrera to the commentary team who clearly will be regular behind the mic. This marks another former WWE name that has made his debut in AEW. Khan has also taken to X to announce Cabrera’s arrival in the company.
While Cabrera is one of the pioneers of the wrestling industry with a mic in his hand, it would be interesting to see how things play out with him in the company. Ringside News will keep you updated with this story.
