Roman Reigns has established himself as one of the greatest pro wrestlers ever. The Tribal Chief has dominated the competition since his return back in 2020. His unstoppable nature has now made an ex-WWE star claim that anyone who feuds with Roman would end up getting their careers killed.
the main event of Crown Jewel on November 4th saw Roman Reigns defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against LA Knight. The match was a classic babyface vs heel affair, as the crowd was fully behind Knight. Unfortunately, Knight failed to win the match despite his best efforts – much to the dismay of fans.
This wasn’t the only disappointing outcome of a Roman Reigns match, as fans clearly remember being shocked after he defeated Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39. While speaking on the Smackdown/RAW Review Show, ex-WWE star Stevie Richards claimed superstars get negatively affected after losing to Roman Reigns.
He even claimed that anyone who feuds with Roman would end up getting their careers killed, noting that he wouldn’t feud with Reigns either. He would then cite LA Knight and Cody Rhodes’ current plights as examples.
“[Stone Cold Steve] Austin was probably the most over character outside of The Rock during that time and probably in the history of the company. So, if Austin jobs to Shawn Michaels at WrestlMania, are you saying that Austin’s as over as he would be if he won? That’s the general consensus you’re talking about a blanket one-to-one analogy to LA Knight or Cody or anybody else.
You’re getting to the point they all fall short and here’s your consolation prize. So, you’re less over after that. Like, I wouldn’t want an angle with Roman Reigns right now because it would kill my career.”
As Ringside News exclusively reported, Roman Reigns will now be temporarily stepping away from the ring. We’ll have to wait and see when Reigns will make his return to WWE television.
