Drew McIntyre displayed intense animosity towards CM Punk on last week’s Friday Night SmackDown, brutally assaulting The Second City Saint and he kept the hatred going on RAW this week. In fact, he has now set his sights on CM Punk’s dog Larry after the show concluded.
During the June 24th edition of Monday Night RAW, The Scottish Warrior addressed his recent actions. He scolded the fans for supporting CM Punk, who had deprived him of significant opportunities. McIntyre expressed his hope that Punk was feeling uncomfortable at home following last week’s attack.
During his speech, McIntyre revealed the band he had taken from CM Punk’s hand on SmackDown. The band, inscribed with the names of Punk’s wife AJ Lee and dog Larry, was now wrapped around McIntyre’s arm.
Drew then shifted his focus to the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match, confidently declaring that he would win and cash in the opportunity that same night. He vowed that CM Punk would have to watch him claim the title from his injured state at home. Taking things a step further, Drew crossed the line by stating that he now had Punk’s family in his corner.
The Scottish Warrior took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of CM Punk’s dog Larry, as he made it clear he now has his sights set on the prized pooch. McIntyre is truly the ultimate hater and fans feel this is just a taste of what’s to come.
We will have to wait and see how WWE will continue to book CM Punk and Drew McIntyre’s feud and keep it heated as we approach the SummerSlam Premium Live Event on August 3rd.
