Concern Over MJF Not Being A Major Name In WWE If He Jumps Ship

MJF is truly one of the best pro wrestlers on the planet right now for good reason. Many also believe he could be heading to WWE once his AEW contract expires. That said, there is genuine concern over MJF not being a big name in WWE.

The Salt of the Earth previously revealed that he will go where the money is after his current AEW contract ends in 2023. MJF even said that there will be a bidding war for him in 2024.

As previously reported, the AEW World Champion insisted that he has not re-signed with Tony Khan’s company even now, as his contract will expire on January 1st, 2024 and many also believe he will go to WWE.

While speaking on Tuesday with the Taskmaster, Kevin Sullivan talked about MJF making his way to WWE. Sullivan stated that MJF might not be as big a star in WWE at all.

[MJF] is not going to be the be-all to end all,” Sullivan said. “All the people in front of him, all the great performers. If he was off of TV for two weeks, would that many people forget about him? After the third week that he was off TV, would [fans] be demanding that he be on TV? I mean, they’re so stacked.”

MJF is also confident WWE won’t put leash on his potential. MJF also told WWE talent that he is looking forward to joining the company in 2024. Regardless, it remains to be seen what MJF will do in the end.

What is your opinion on what Kevin Sullivan said? Do you feel MJF will leave AEW to join WWE? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
