Cody Rhodes is certainly one of the most beloved stars in WWE, which was something many fans did not expect whatsoever. In fact, his meteoric rise from last year has cemented him as one of WWE’s best stars. In fact, Rhodes made a young fan’s night, whose sign was confiscated during Smackdown.
The American Nightmare is undoubtedly one of WWE’s top babyfaces, as adults and children alike flock to see him each and every week – whether it is for a main roster show or a WWE live event.
A fan took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of his daughter named Liberty with a sign that says she loves Cody Rhodes. However, the sign would get confiscated by security during Smackdown.
”Our Liberty is pumped to try to meet another Liberty’s dad tonight at SmackDown, @CodyRhodes!
Update: @WWE security confiscated this super-controversial sign from our @CodyRhodes superfan. We’ve seen tears.”
The father would then reveal that Cody Rhodes gave young Liberty a Cody Rhodes plushie. Rhodes would then meet the young girl and embrace him, making it clear he made the girl’s night.
”Update Again: The legend @CodyRhodes has hooked up Liberty and the smile is back.
Final Update: Liberty called it the best night ever. @CodyRhodes is an absolute legend.”
Cody Rhodes’ star continues to shine bright and we’ll have to see whether he will end up dethroning Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40 next year.
