Chris Jericho Makes Shocking Appearance on 6/28 CMLL Viernes Espectacular

Chris Jericho is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world and is also proud to be working in AEW and isn’t afraid to show it. He loves competing all over the world and that’s why it is no surprise he made a shocking appearance at CMLL Viernes Espectacular this week.

Chris Jericho made a dramatic return to CMLL on the June 28th edition of CMLL Viernes Espectacular under the alias “Corazon De Leon,” creating a significant impact. During the event, Jericho attacked Místico immediately after Místico waved to the fans. Jericho appeared in the ring wearing a disguised Místico mask, only to reveal his true identity to the shocked audience at Arena Mexico.

Following this surprise, Jericho delivered a promo in Spanish, boldly proclaiming himself as the greatest of all time. He criticized Místico, suggesting Místico had the heart of a mouse, and then issued a challenge to Místico for a match anytime, anywhere. Místico accepted the challenge, with the condition that their encounter would take place at Arena Mexico.

This marked Jericho’s first appearance in CMLL in nearly three decades, since his unsuccessful challenge for the CMLL World Heavyweight Title against Apolo Dantes on September 19, 1995, at Arena Coliseo in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. Regardless, we’ll have to see how his match against Místico will turn out, as fans were shocked to see Jericho back in CMLL again.
